I was shocked, I had recently heard about the kindle and was wanting one but never said anything to my husband about it. I didn't know he knew they existed, so I was amazed when I opened my gift. I've had my kindle for 3 months now and can't imagine life w/out it. It's nice if I'm reading a book in a series and I finish it I can get the next one in under a minute instead of having to try to plan a trip to the store. The prices are good on the kindle books and they even have free kindle books.
